Ceremony Materials 2024

The award ceremony for the 2023 International Leontief Medal "For Contribution to Economic Reform" was held on March 2, 2024, in the Ballroom of the Astoria Hotel, St. Petersburg.

The ceremony was opened by L.E. Limonov, Deputy General Director of the Leontief Center, and S.A. Vasiliev, Chairman of the Public Awards Committee and Scientific Supervisor of the Leontief Center.  

Dmitry Travin delivered a welcome address on behalf of all the laureates, AndreyZaostrovtsev read fragments  from the Public Committee’s decision, and Marek Dombrowski, Mikhail Dmitriev, and Alexader Khodachek introduced the laureates. 

After the welcome addresses and introductions, the awards were presented. The ceremony concluded with the laureates’ lectures.

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank, Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia (1998–2008), Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia (2008–2014), Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (2016–2020) 

 

awarded the International Leontief Medal
for outstanding services in carrying out economic reforms in Russia and the development of its financial system
